The Boston Bruins, three goals down in the third period of Game 7 vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs less than a month ago, are now just three wins away from appearing in the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in three seasons.  As the Bruins get set to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, we sit down with Adam Kaufman, broadcaster at 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston and columnist at Boston.com – and former Providence Bruins (AHL) play-by-play man.  In this interesting conversation, Kaufman brings an interesting perspective from watching many of the current Bruins apply their trade in the minors before their shot at the big time (David Krejci, Brad Marchand, Tuukka Rask and Johnny Boychuk just to name a few). We also discussed whether he watched the Leafs-Bruins Game 7 in its entirety (or bailed early like a good number of people), what the Bruins need to continue to do to quell the Penguins’ many offensive weapons and his most recent article on Boston.com, talking about a drastic measure that, in his mind, should befall Penguins’ forward Matt Cooke after his game misconduct in Saturday’s Game 1.  Enjoy listening…
