PHILADELPHIA — The school that reigned at the end of March Madness on the men’s side carried that championship momentum to Memorial Day mayhem.

Attacker Matt Moore scored four goals while fellow font man Michael Kraus netted three goals as the Cavaliers won their sixth national championship in men’s lacrosse, defeating the defending champion Yale Bulldogs 13-9 in the D1 title game at Lincoln Financial Field.
