As the Memphis Grizzlies get ready to participate in their first ever Western Conference Finals series (against the San Antonio Spurs) on Sunday, A Lot Of Sports Talk recently caught up with Grizzly swingman Quincy Pondexter, the team’s leading three-point shooter so far (42.9 percent) during the 2013 NBA Playoffs. In the interview, the affable third-year player from the University of Washington previewed the upcoming series against the Spurs, his approach when guarding Kevin Durant one-on-one in the conference semis, as well as his foray into sports broadcasting in January while recovering from injury (and how that helped him become a better player in his return).
