If you like your college basketball with a certain blue blood element to it, then the afternoon session of the 2017 ACC Tournament probably is where you need to be right now. Since those ticket prices are probably too steep to drop some coin and watch it live, being on this page is your next best option.

Featuring at the Barclays Center before the sun goes down on this Thursday are five-time national champions North Carolina and Duke, as well as three-time national champion Louisville. While the top-seeded Tar Heels take on No. 9 Miami at noon, Duke and Louisville square off in a mouth-watering quarterfinal matchup. With all due respect to the Hurricanes and Cardinals, who are very good teams, how much fun would it be if the Carolina schools won those games and set up a rubber match of the 2017 edition of the Duke-UNC rivalry in New York City?

Not to be outdone, the evening session at the ACC Tournament should be a whole lot of fun and features four surefire NCAA Tournament teams; No. 7 Virginia Tech, after its win against Wake Forest yesterday, takes on No. 2 Florida State and, in the nightcap, No. 3 Notre Dame takes on No. 6 Virginia.

The hardest-working man in New York City, photographer Robert Cole, has been shuttling between the boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan over the past two days and will once again be courtside at the Barclays Center to provide you the amazing sights from underneath the basket of each quarterfinal game at the home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets.

Keep refreshing this page soon after the games end to see the latest pictures from Day 3 of the 2017 ACC Tournament. UPDATE: There are now 73 photos in this gallery, with all four quarterfinal games featured.
