Amazingly enough, we’re exactly just two weeks away from the beginning of the NCAA Tournament, when the First Four gets underway in Dayton. With that in mind, here is A Lot Of Sports Talk‘s first bracket projection, as of Tuesday. It might be our last projection, since it was such a headache to move BYU around and make sure they were placed in Thursday/Saturday sites to accommodate for their religious observances (no athletic activities on Sundays.) We kid, of course! (Not about BYU, but about this being our last projection before Selection Sunday.)

Last four teams out: California, Tennessee, Dayton, Missouri
Why?
Georgetown: Don’t let the eyesore of the overall record (16-12) and beyond questionable RPI (64) fool you. None of the other teams jockeying for position on and around the bubble cut line have as many wins against Top 50 RPI teams than the Hoyas’ four (vs. Kansas State, vs. VCU, vs. Michigan State, Xavier). With games against Creighton (home) and Villanova (away) to end the season, Georgetown can all but clinch a bid by Saturday afternoon.
Why not?
California: Most projections have the Golden Bears in the field, and it’s mostly due to Cal’s win over then-undefeated and No. 1 Arizona on Feb. 1. But since then, Cal has gone 3-4, with their only wins against the Washington schools and USC, and all four of those losses to teams currently projected into the NCAA field (Stanford, UCLA, Arizona schools). The Bears’ best win in the non-conference came in the Maui Invitational vs. Arkansas, which might not be enough to carry the day unless the Bears sweep the Rocky Mountain schools at home (Utah, Colorado) to end the regular season.
