COLLEGE PARK, Md. — “Five” has almost become a taboo word around Indiana football the past couple of years, considering the Hoosiers have fallen one win shy of bowl eligibility in each of the previous two campaigns. With more than a month to play in the season, the “five” the Hoosiers earned this afternoon away from home was a sweet victory, but one they hope will just be a building block to many more wins in that win column before the season is over..

Running back Stevie Scott III ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns while backup quarterback Peyton Ramsey was excellent in a relief role as Indiana defeated Maryland 34-28 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium, moving them one step closer to clinching a winning record for the first time in 12 years.
