COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND — While it might not be a coach’s dream for his team to come away with a victory despite a myriad of errors in the same game, but Maryland head coach Mike Locksley will definitely have a lot of talk about over the next few days while, in the same breath, mentioning how his kids are still undefeated in what is quickly turning into a promising campaign.

Taulia Tagovailoa completed almost 75 percent of his passes and threw two touchdowns while Roman Hemby gained 151 yards on the ground in leading the Terrapins to a 34-27 come-from-behind victory over SMU in a Saturday evening contest in College Park. Tagovailoa’s five-yard scoring strike to Corey Dyches midway through the fourth quarter gave the Terrapins the lead for good, and they were able to overcome 15 penalties and two turnovers to remain undefeated at 3-0.
