On Monday, A Lot Of Sports Talk had the pleasure of chatting with Jim Kelly, Buffalo Bills legendary quarterback and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Just coming back from Canton to celebrate the incoming Class of 2013, Kelly talks about his weekend reuniting with his fellow Hall of Fame brethren and the honor of sharing company with gridiron greats he grew up idolizing as a youngster in Pennsylvania. Also, he shared with us some intimate details about his current day-to-day recovery from jaw surgery after being diagnosed with squamous-cell carcinoma (cancer) of the upper jaw bone. (He announced in June that the procedure was a success and that he is currently cancer-free.)

The conversation also focused on the present-day Bills and the current quarterback competition between veteran Kevin Kolb and rookie EJ Manuel, along with where the team’s strengths lie and where there is room for improvement. We also asked him about the perennial team to beat in the AFC East, the New England Patriots. (His response should please all Bills fans.)
