DALLAS — It is a sure thing that Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski would have traded all of his goals in the first game of this year’s Western Conference semifinals — all four of them — in exchange for a victory, something his team fell just short of in an overtime loss on Tuesday Less than 48 hours later, the Stars played a near-perfect game in getting in the win column.

Better yet, Pavelski did not have to trade in all of his goals from Tuesday.

Pavelski, along with Wyatt Johnson, Evgenii Dadonov and Tyler Seguin, each scored for the Stars in their 5-1 win over the Seattle Kraken in game two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs second round series at American Airlines Center on Thursday evening. Jake Oettinger only saw 27 shots on the night, and he made 25 saves as Dallas has won each of the three games it has played following a defeat this postseason.
