After 15 glorious years in the WNBA, one of the league’s best is finally Cash-ing out her professional basketball career.
On Wednesday night, the New York Liberty held a retirement ceremony for forward Swin Cash, the three-time WNBA champion, four-time All-Star and Olympic gold medalist who is hanging up her sneakers at the end of this 2016 WNBA season. In June, Cash was named as one of the 20 greatest and most influential players in WNBA history as part of a continuing celebration of the WNBA’s 20th anniversary season. It’s been a pleasure for A Lot of Sports Talk to have covered one of basketball’s best players and most colorful personalities, and we wish Swin all of the best in her post-playing endeavors.
