PHILADELPHIA \u2014 After the latest edition of one of sports’ all-time great rivalries, Navy quarterback Malcolm Perry admitted that today was the biggest game he has ever played in his life. What preceded that comment was a performance never before seen in the rivalry’s storied history \u2014 and maybe the greatest individual performance in 120 such footballing encounters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In his first start as a quarterback in the rivalry, Perry rushed for 304 yards in leading the Midshipmen to a 31-7 drubbing of Army at Lincoln Financial Field, capping a 10-win regular season and clinching the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Perry, who spent the past couple of seasons playing mostly running back after being benched from the quarterback spot, became the first player in the rivalry’s history to run for over 300 yards.
