BOSTON — Before Tuesday’s Game 2, questions abound about how the rest of the series would look like for the Boston Celtics, world beaters in their first-round series, after suffering a devastating first loss in the NBA Playoffs on Sunday.

Is Milwaukee too big for the Celtics? Was defeating the disjointed Nets not the best indicator of how far Boston could go in the playoffs? Does Boston have any chance to win tonight after their point guard and the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, Marcus Smart, was ruled out for the game through injury? Would this series against the defending NBA champions even come back to Boston after Game 2?

Jaylen Brown made sure those doubts turned into championship dreams within the first 24 minutes, and the Celtics are indeed truly back in the series.

Brown scored 25 of his 30 points in the first half as the Celtics opened up a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a 109-86 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks to even the Eastern Conference semifinals series at one game apiece.
