CHARLOTTE — In the NFC South, things continue to point north for the Atlanta Falcons.

Bijan Robinson ran for two touchdowns as the Falcons went to the ground game a week after winning a shootout to defeat the Carolina Panthers 38-20 at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Atlanta’s third consecutive victory and all coming against each of the other members of the NFC South. Tyler Allgeier also ran for a score while churning out a team-leading 105 yards on the ground as Atlanta ran for 198 yards as a team.

One week after throwing for a franchise-record 509 yards in an overtime home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kirk Cousins threw for a modest 225 yards on 19-of-30 passing and a second-quarter touchdown to Drake London from three yards out.

“We went out last week and they gave us a pass and we threw the ball a bunch. This week we got out and we got a chance to establish the run and we went out and did it,” Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said. “We did it with a nice one two punch with Tyler and Bijan. The O-Line really took a lot of credit, took a lot of pride in that. Drake London, being that sixth O-lineman so to speak and what he’s able to do in the run game and all those guys going out there and blocking. I think we just kind of take what they are giving us right now. And the guys are going out there and doing it.”
