BALTIMORE — Unfortunately for starting pitcher Tyler Wells, one member of the Blue Jays batting order had his number on Thursday afternoon. Fortunately for him and the Baltimore Orioles, however, Wells was masterful against the rest of Toronto’s lineup in another quality start that led to another Baltimore Orioles victory.

Wells allowed just those two runs — solo home runs to Danny Jansen — in 6 2/3 innings, giving the Orioles’ offense the time and opportunity to come from behind, which they did, to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2 inside Camden Yards and clinch another series victory. Adley Rutschman and Austin Hays launched solo home runs for Baltimore, who is a season-high 18 games over .500 (43-25) and improved its record to 5-1 against its division rival.
