WASHINGTON — The remarkable start to Davidson’s most memorable season since the days of Stephen Curry continued, but not before it had to stage off what probably will be one of its best comebacks on the campaign.
Forward Luka Brajkovic scored 30 points, including a go-ahead three-point play with just under a minute remaining to lift the Wildcats to a 78-73 victory over the George Washington Colonials at the Smith Center on Saturday afternoon. Foster Loyer had 16 points with five assists while Sam Mennenga had 11 points as Davidson, who remains undefeated in road games this season, has now won 18 of its last 19 contests.
